Melanochromis interruptus, finally found a female

So I'm browsing my LFS today and to my suprize I found the fish I been looking for forever...
Something to give my male Melanochromis interruptus...
a female to chase around and dig holes for.

This is the little dude that went belly up during a power outage. I found him upside down swirling in the wash from the powerhead...
I took him to the sink and put a flow of water into his mouth, I really thought I lost him
After about 2-3 minutes, he recovered and came out of his near death experience and is back doing what he does best...
Digging holes and spitting rocks.
For being such a trooper, I got him a female...maybe she can show him why he has those dots on his anal fin...

I have a male... He is about 4 inches and I added a female and another small male... it is a mixed tank... the next day they were dead... but the others I added made it fine...

ya know...my lfs had this fish marked as a female Melanochromis interuptus, and being a noob I said bag it, I'll take it...SO wtf do I do now?...I'm pissed.

Blue with light blue bars and a circle of yellow dots on the anal in is a male melanochromis interruptus...
