AQUATIC-PHOTOGRAPHY.COM – MEMBER AGREEMENT
Effective: Immediately
First of all, we want this place to be a friendly and open environment. Rules here are only meant to guide you through the procedures that will be taken if something is done that is not in agreement with the way this forum is to be run.
This document will provide the outline of rules and regulations that all members will be subject to, and description of the rules enforcement process.
Violations to our agreement include (but are not limited to):
1. Creation of a discussion whose intention is to inflame or provoke other subscribers to behave against the rules, called “trolling.”
2. The creation of a forum discussion or a response to a forum discussion (“derailing a thread”) that is blatantly off-topic.
3. Deceptive trading or the misrepresentation of a retail product.
4. Distribution of software intended to harm computer hardware.
5. Distribution of pornographic material. “Pornographic material” is defined as any material explicitly intended to encourage sexual arousal.
6. Distribution of unlicensed commercial software. “Unlicensed commercial software” is defined as any software product whose manufacturer requires monetary reimbursement. Freely available software and shareware are excluded from this clause.
7. Impersonation of a staff member, administrator or moderator.
8. Intentional distribution of erroneous advice or information that may cause harm to an individual or their property.
9. Masquerading as a commercial vendor or community sponsor without rendering fees applicable to the respective positions.
10. Member harassment; threats.
11. Offensive avatars.
12. Profanity. “Profanity” is defined as any language that is offensive to an ethnic group.
13. The propagation of any material deemed libelous.
Our general enforcement policy:
First offense.
A warning is issued, and the member is temporarily removed from participating in discussions.
Second offense.
A second warning is issued and the member temporarily loses access to the forum.
Third offense.
The member is permanently removed from access to the forum.
Of course, as these are only guidelines, we (admin and moderators) reserve the right to disregard the above “general enforcement policy” at our collective discretion, and issue additional warnings and/or quicker bans, as required to facilitate peace and enjoyment of the forum. Members are encouraged to communicate with the administrative staff via the forum Private Messaging system regarding possible forum rules violations.
We reserve the right to address any disruptive behavior not encompassed by this document at our discretion. We reserve the right to modify this document without notice. This agreement does not render any guarantees regarding quality of service.
