As some of you know, I work at the Memphis Humane Society. We are a no kill animal shelter with no government funding. We work completely off of donations. Here is Star, the newest addition. She was picked up with six puppies. She was wearing a harness collar which she outgrew and the collar grew into her. With daily cleaning and a little extra food, she'll heal up and be just fine. The public doesnt see what I do at work. They only see the healthy dogs. So most have no idea what we do to get some of these dogs ready.
If you would like to help your local Humane Society, go to www.hsus.org or you can help mine at www.memphishumane.org.

This world needs more people like you, most places would have put animals like that down.. It's a damn shame that there are pet owners that let stuff like this happen to their pets...
