So I'm being dragged down to Memphis for a bachelor party. My first question was "why Memphis?" especially since the primary bachelor party activity is now illegal there, but whatever. First weekend in May.

I was ok with it while I still thought the Tennessee aquarium was nearby, but alas it is not.

Any suggestions on what to do for a few hours on a Sunday morning / early afternoon before my 5pm flight home? I was hoping for a good aquarium, but could be anything really. Keep in mind I'll be hung over...

I'm making a note to cross Tennessee off any potential travel plans. I don't know what they banned but it's off this list. Thanks for the heads up!

Yea. They passed a law last year. No topless, no bottomless, no within 6 feet of customers, no girl on girl, no booze. Basically like a hooters, but no booze (which is confusing if you can't strip how do they restrict which places are "strip clubs" vs normal bars and hence no booze??).

Are there no heterosexual males on the board or is the town ultra religious?...ehh,not that I am a denizen of such establishments but I was just wondering.

There were some prostitution scandals in strip clubs, then the religious conservatives had enough power to shut them down totally.

Anyone from Memphis want to chime in? What happened to the clubs?
