Fake?....of course it's fake.Mother Nature didn't create mermaids,Hollywood did.Do a search and pull up the other mermaid thread and you can read the various members opinions in that one.

I didn't watch it but I still know its fake and most likely pointless. It's a show made to get ratings and views, I think animal planet is getting desperate and the channel isn't even really educational anymore

I think it's fake but the aquatic ape theory could be true, like it said, polar bears evolved webbed feet and I don't see why apes couldn't, but I doubt an ape would survive off of shellfish alone
