i got Merodontotus tigrinus afew days ago. he is about 17 cm and capt in 600L whit 2 Channa Pleuro Snakeheads,
they about the same siz as the tigrinus.

till now i didnt get to see him eat this: hikari plats, tetra bits, frozen blood worms, frozen shrims, live california worms and tody ieven juppy
all this, and no success...

he look fine now, but im worry to loss him if he wont start eating somting..

what should i do to make him eat?

tnx. mat

Silversides. They smell. It may attract him to eat. But it's still stressed from new tank. It may take a week or so.

Try supermarket cocktail shrimp (whole, for a fish that size) and silversides. The garlic idea is good as well (never let's me down when I'm catfishing :)).

Dont worry about it starving, my striped raphael cat went 3 months without eating a few months ago but thankfully he's eating again and back to his fat self :). Although oddly he ONlY eats dry shrimp pellets, that's a thinker...
