Merry Christmas APF. wow, Alex - awesome gift... very happy for you and please let us know how you and your new toy comes along. You may or may not want to keep the little guy for times you don't plan to use a long lens. things always come up heh. or do like me and sell it :) As for me, I kinda spoiled myself a little this year but i won't get into that. Hope everyone has a great time! BTW i bought a christmas tree right after thanksgiving and it's very rough looking now that it's Christmas time.. hehe.

Yeah, hiro what did you get, besides the new body? :)

Happy Holidays guys. Alex, congrats on the new toy, I got blessed with a lot of toys this season, you know what they are. I am done for a LONG TIME :)

Yeah, those are awesome Ed!
Hehe, that spoiled brat in the third picture with a mental age of two is unsatisfied this year.
He got a Samsung A50. And he's jealous of me. He's 28 god dammit and my present was a combined Christmas + Birthday present :-D And notice the sweet creamy bokeh + the sharpness @ 2.8 ..drools!

I hope everyone really enjoys the holidays . Ed has all his new toys , Alex just got a super toy and hirO has a wonderful new camera coming . I told my wife I want to take pictures of things far away but it was awfully expensive . She just said that she thought I would be very happy tomorrow morning . Probably another kit lense . Time will tell .

LOL, Hir0 has something that he can pluck with in his spare time. :)

Sounds like everyone is getting something camera related for the holidays. Don't know what I'll be getting tomorrow for Christmas, but picked up one of these for myself (new one is on the left).

Merry Christmas Everyone.
It doesn't snow here in Hawaii so it really doesn't feel like winter. All I want for Christmas is to get my camera back from Nikon. I had to send it in because the mirror doesn't work. Hopefully I get it back before new years.

I hope to be more active in the forum next year. If my health gets better I will try to go out and take more photos. Thanks Ed for inviting me to join this wonderful forum. I am learning so much from everyone here.

Happy Holidays,
Rick

Rick U are welcome. Feel better in the new year and be more involved here. :) BTW, in Cali it's about 85 today so not much winter either. We are planning a trip to our mountain place (5k feet up) but I dont think there will be snow for new years, what a shame.

Eric, that is a nice lens, I may get one of those some day, always tempting.
