Here are some of the peacock-only catches from October 2006 on the Unini River...NOT all of the fish we caught
...but some of the good ones!!
Scott
Uh oh, bent hook! This might seem impressive and, that the fish could do this IS impressive, however we learned (here the first day of fishing) that this result is caused by the drag being too tight:

This 16lb fish was caught in the FIRST 15 minutes of fishing on the very FIRST day!!:

We had FOUR DOUBLES during the trip - I'm not talking a "double" for the boat, I'm talking a DOUBLE ON ONE LURE!! Here are two separate double catches:

Miscellaneous peacocks:

Two DIFFERENT fish caught by my father within about 2 hours of each other. A 17LB bettered by a 19LB!!:

Look down its throat...there's a tail in there!! Someone was hungry!!:

Beautiful "butterfly" color variation:

My 20LB peacock!!
:

The first fish below is the 13LB female I caught on the following video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QhaSGeXFjdY The second fish is the paired 13LB MALE that I caught 2 minutes later!!:
