Ok this thread may be pointless but may be a good. I have a 55 gal. metal stand I have grinded (to get the rust off) and have resprayed it. I never had a metal stand before, but I must say I like the look of wood stands. Much better look for inside a home. I know I could go buy a wooden stand for a 55 gal tank, But has anybody customized there metal stand or used wood or something to cover up the ugly look of metal. I plan on using a sump filter as well.
