I'm preparing to house my iridescent sharks in a larger, temporary area until I can provide them a proper and even larger aquarium.

I have the choice between a Rubbermaid stock tank or a galvanized metal stock tank.
I've had the Rubbermaid brand recommended to me, as well as other plastic-related materials, but is metal safe for fish?

No, Galvanized material is not safe for fish. If you use a Galvanized tub it is necessary to also use a liner or waterproofing paint overtop to make it fish safe. Even the galvanized ones rust over time. Go with the Rubbermaid type or similar.

Thank you, wednesday! You've been helping me out a lot, and I really appreciate it!
