I setup a 10g QT tank under the stand of the 180g.

But it looked too plain so I added eco-complete and decided to plant it to make any fish being monitored in it more comfortable.

After the plants and driftwood were added, I added snails and moss.

Once the chcolate, albino gg, and festivum, cleared QT, the tank was now empty except for the snails.

And after a trip to the LFS today to pick up some crickets for the mantis, the 10g QT kind of transformed into a dwarf puffer tank.

Don't you hate when that happens? :grinno:

I picked up a male and 3 females today, I'm going to try breeding them. I haven't named them yet, but I plan to. :D

yeah these micro tanks are really MFK style, but I know there are some users who only keep smaller tanks so they may be interested in these little fish.

Do you have any full tank shots? It looks awesome!

Not off hand, but I will take a few in a minute and post them up. Thanks for the kind words. :)

are those dwarf puffers. Looks really nice and perfect for them

Yes they are dwarf puffers (Carinotetraodon travancoricus). They really do seem to appreciate having a lot of nooks to explore to keep them busy.

Very nice puffers. Maybe you should name the male "Wrinkles".

Thanks, I got these from a really great LFS. The ones at petsmart are rarely in good shape, sunken bellies and what not.

It's nice to finally have puffers again so I can feed them the snails from my filters :D

The male looks really cool!!! The tank looks really nice too!!!

Thanks Death Pony! From what I hear, the iridescent lines aren't usually so numerous and spread out over the body, usually it's just behind the eyes.

Here's the Phull Tank shot ;) (please excuse the snails having sex, and the lack of a background, this was supposed to be a QT tank after all):

wal mart plant bulbs on the left side are exploding:

This is the back wall of the tank, I created a 'safe zone' where the fish can go to not be seen, behind the DW. Up front you can see a sprouting Nymphae zenkerii:
