Anybody have any experience using Methelyne Blue as anti-fungal agent with egg scatterers? I administered it Sunday and have been doing 50% daily water changes but the water is still bluish. Am I missing something?

The water is supposed to stay blue.

i used it once, dyed everything! when i administered it it was so dark i couldnt see the fish! didnt harm any tho! just keep water changing, my rocks took about 6 months to return to their previous colour!

I use it all the time but I get mine from my LFS and it's usually one drop per 10gal but I use double the amount for my feeder tank but yeah blue stays for a little bit only once it gets cycled it goes away

Thanks for the responses!

My interest in Methylene Blue was to minimize cory cat eggs from fungusing. After administering it, I did 25-50% water changes twice per day. Water has gradually faded but still has a bluish hue.

Although it seemed that many eggs still fungused, after about 6 days, I have 40+ albino cory fry! Success!
