metronidazole + channel catfish

I have a 75 gal community tank that includes a 12" channel catfish. Some other fish in the tank require a metronidazole treatment, but I am concerned about the channel cat because he is a scaleless fish.

Should I be ok to treat the tank with metronidazole?

use salt and pima or melafix... there natural and im pretty sure its safe for most anyfish

^ doing the same with my tank. 17 catfish, ghost knife and 3 cichlids. My large severum came down with a monster bacterial infection overnight after adding some feeder crawfish. Now my niger cat has it too. Salt and melafix are doing wonders
