metronidazole ray safe?

Did some searching, but only found a few threads and I would rather have a little more reassurance.

I believe my discus have internal parasites and it is recommended to treat them with metronidazole, is this medication ray safe?
Also The only metronidazole medication I can find in my area is jungle parasite clear (those fizzing tablets), any one have any experience with them? Please let me know I would hate for anything to happen to my rays.

yes, safe, recommend pre-dissolve those tablets though.

active ingrediants : praziquantel; N-[[(N-Chlorophenyl)amino]carbon 1]-2,6-difluorobenzamide; metronidazole; acriflavine

I don't know about the acriflavine or the difluorobenzamide, but the prazi is safe as well.

There is no way of knowing, and besides, if the "sign" was death it would be a little late.

Get some pure metro and treat with that.

no one in town sells pure metro that I know of I probably couldn't get it by mail for a few days. Ideally that is what I would like to use though.
