Metronidazole seachem

Anyone ever use or heard of these ? What are they good for and how to use , I saw the package saying turn off uv , but why turn off uv?

Metronidazole is a basic med used as a dewormer, most commonly in dogs but probably the best thing IME to treat for internal parasites in fish.

Works best if foods are soaked and ingested IME. I've had equal if not better success with 3% Epsom salt soaked foods Thanks to RD's sticky on the subject.

Metro is an antibiotic drug used to treat parasitic and bacterial infections in fish. (and dogs)
