INSTRUCTIONS: Add contents of one capsule into aquarium per each 10 gallons. Repeat in 24 hours. It is suggested that a partial water change be made between treatments. While duration of treatment depends on type and severity of infection, it is recommended that extended medication baths continue for a minimum of 5 days and for not more that 10 days.
Discontinue treatment if no improvement is noted within 5 days.

I did my first dose yesterday and I'm about to do a WC and do treatment #2. Wow much water should I change 15%, 25%, 33%?

I do between 30-50% between doses of meds.

Thanks, the day after I did the WC I called the company that makes the product and they said a 3rd minimum. When I asked her about doing this for five days she said dosing every 2-3 days would be fine. So far I've done the 2 posted doses and I plan on doing a 50% WC tomorrow and doing a third dose.

My question to you is...if I'm dosing every 2-3 days when should I end treatment and how long does it take for carbon to fully remove the meds?

I would think it depends on what you are treating for, and whether you are seeing signs of improvement in the diseased fish.
Metro usually seems to be dosed 3-4 times as standard depending on what info you read.
I believe metro only remains potent for 8hrs after being administered so if you are doing large water changes during and after the course of treatment IMO there's probably little benefit in using carbon to remove it.

Agreed
