Metynnis fasciatus (silver dollars)

Posted in general forum but not getting feed back so trying here
Question is for silver dollar owners how many have all of you kept what was/is the minimum ? I have 4 metynnis fasciatus and was wondering if that is gonna work or do I have to add more. I really dont want to but if I do what are some of the smaller growing sd's
They are in a comm with oscar hrp yellow acara L200 and asian bbcat (not longt term) feel the tank is pushing rhe limits now so reluctant to add anymore fish (150 gal)

I have found that a minimum of 3 has always worked well for me. I would stick with Spotted SD's as I have found them to stay smaller over time. Red Hooks get big and some of the others do as well. Nothing beats a mob of SD's!

I had a group of 4 and a seperate group of 5 grow out... they are all together now but had no issues at the smaller amounts... I agree 3 or 4 is better
