i am looking into getting a mexican night snake, it will be my first snake of my collection, i heard they are a good beginner snake. i just wanted to know if anyone had any or knew anything about them and had some advice. thanks
Where are you getting a Mexican nightsnake? I'd never even heard of one before.
Here is a pic by Gary Nafis, they are mildly venomous rear fanged snakes that have bitten a couple people causing local swelling, bruising, pain, and nausea. If you want a "hot" snake it is an excellent choice as it seldom tries to bite and it's fangs are arranged so that even if it does it is unlikely to envenomate, and if it does you will not be seriously hurt.hey guppy, what does that dessert night snake look like? are they cool too? i've noticed you have replied to lots of other threads and are really educated, do you have any other suggestions of good starter snakes? thanks
