Those uaru are too cool. I'd rather have those than discus.
That hybrid is pretty cool too. I like the video of him fighting the dog toy (I think that's him)

My favorite is my only american cichlid(for now).

But I like him because he is his own fish ha know. I watch him and I feel like his watching me haha he doesn't mind my mom but hates my gf. he does what he wants with the tank. I don't even bother moving decor around anymore. The most recent thing he did was remove all the gravel from from around his cave and then turn his cave 90 degrees.
Here's a picture of the cave I speak of. Never a dull moment with him.

Yea big cichlids are fun,but they can really do some damage.the hybrid cracked a section of my lid,currently has ALL decor and whatever handful of gravel pushed in the corner.you could silicone some slate to your pvc
