Thank you all, for putting up with my recent threads... regarding my new tank...moving my fish...and questions regarding fish compatibility. The feedback was amazing, grateful for every feedback and constructive criticism... I have never dealt with the fish I have now. Another reason this was hard, is it is a 8-12 month grow out tank... and I did not know the compatibility of the fish. Apologies for picture quality... FISH DONT STAY STILL lol..especially the GT.... Canon 550D Basic Lense.

Pics of the new tank and the additions! Enjoy :)

P.S. I did trade the jaguar cichlid baby for my new Green Terror... with all my research I came to learn, Jaguar's are much more aggressive than GT's... and like i said before, I am playing with fire...and its either a trade for the GT or I keep the Jag... I went with the trade. There has been SLIGHT aggression from the GT...a little peck here and there at the oscars, but nothing serious... :irked:

Silver dollars, are these normal silver dollars? They have a red fin at the bottom?

FINALLY... my Green Terror (8-10cm)...He also has blue/green markings on his dorsal fins...the picture didn't capture it!! I was told this was a TRUE GT due to the coloring and that mixed low grade GT's have dull coloring? can someone PLEASE confirm the potential of this GREEN TERROR?

im pretty sure those red colors are normal for silver dollars. i used to keep a school of them and they had red on their fins as well. true GT or not, nice colors!

glad you can find some good help here on mfk :)

Very nice looking tank

Hey thanks guys...took me a while to get it setup... not much good at aqua scapping...this is my 3rd tank... so lol..still new to the scene. Is there enough hiding spots?

My GT... gets bit frisky at the oscars here and there...but nothing like chasing them around...they are keeping out of his way most of the time... haha can't wait for my oscars to out grow him lol....

GT: WTF...

Oscars: Who yo daddy now?

LOL cheers!

Nice looking fish!! Make sure that tank stays covered well...Seriously, I almost lost my Oscar after he jumped when about 1/5 of his tank was uncovered. Sneaky little devil...

What size tank will they be going into once they're older?

Hello ma'am :D thank you. And yes tank is covered...they are normally jumpy when young I think...they get lazy as they grow haha. And I heard about Mister King Arthur :) was following the thread.

Well, in July we are planning to move out...and my next target is a ... 8x3x3 tank... ;) will cost me around $3K though...just the tank and cabinet...then you have the sump...filtration...which will probably cost half what the tank is going to cost...

Trying to finish my final year at University...and really busy with the office....but will get there soon with the blessings of above :)

^^ yep... planning on buying everything new....I can buy it now if I wanted too, just save up 2-3 months and done..but no space. My problem, is space! :P
