I was bored so I decided to make a list of all the mfk typing shortcuts and fish terms I've seen. This is mostly for fun but It will probably help noobs. When I first started useing this site I had a hard time with some of them. Feel free to add to the list and I'll redo it with the new additions!
MFK- Monster Fish Keepers
Monster Fish- Rare, Huge, Cool, Unique, our favorite kind of fish!
LFS- Local Fish Store
Avi- Avitar, pictures that some members have under their screen name
Turnover/Flow rate- When your tank compleatly cycles once. usualy given as turnovers per hour.
BB- Beneficial Bacteria
Cycle- To let your tank run empty before stocking it to give benificial bacteria a chance to grow.
Gut Loading- Feeding feeder fish healthy so that food will help the fish that eats it
Quarentine- (did I spell that right?) to isolate feeders for a while to make sure they are healthy enough to feed to you fish.
Overstocked- You have too many fish!!!

WTF?- Whats That Fish? (what did you think it ment?)
DIY- Do It Yourself

Sticks- Processed fish food (from a store)
Brackish- Fish that like a small amount of salt in their tanks. (From the mouthes of big rivers, where the fresh water meets the salt)
O- Oscar
SD- Silver Dollar (the fish)
Poly- Polypterus
PB- Pecock Bass
RB- Red Belly Pirahna
Aro- Arowana
FWR- Freshwater Sting Ray
