MFK Inspired plant filtration tanks

So after reading a couple long post on MFK about plant filtration ive decided to try it out in a couple of my smaller tanks...One of these 3 tanks always has 40ppm and thats what has me searching for how to lower my nitrates...just did this last night and this afternoon so I will keep this thread updated...

There is a whole other thread on this I just did this myself. Cut an inch of the roots. It will help the plant adapt better to water instead of dirt.
