This just pisses me off. I don't know why all of the sudden the staff of this forum have taken an anti-gun approach. This will probably get closed/deleted and I dont care, this should be made public.
The reason for my rant? Well my FS thread was closed. I was selling a few extra gun parts that I had laying around. I know it's not fish related, but people sell misc items all the time, so I didn't see an issue with it.
My thread was just closed today with NO EXPLANATION. i then pm'd a mod asking what happened. I was told that it was closed because guns/gun parts can be illegal. wtf? what idiot came up with that determination? i'd like to know please.
I read the buy-n-sell rules and i see NO REASON why the parts i was selling would not be allowed. they are NOT ILLEGAL in any way shape or form and are even sold on ebay (ebay is a very anti-gun site as well).
I know what most of you will say, if i dont like it, leave, post them somewhere else, blah blah blah. that's not the point. the point is that is that i think sometimes this forum goes a bit too far with the legal stuff. even to point where they apply a form of "underground regulation" and try to enforce laws in ways that arent even applicable or intended.
and here's the thread that was closed http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=194558
so, let the comments pour in
