Hi all can anyone tell me what does "bump" mean? Also, throw in some MFK jargon that will help everyone else. I'm still getting used to this site. Also, how do I delete a thread or close it?

"Bump" simply indicates that the person wants responses in his thread if nobody else has answered after some time. A good guideline to avoid abuse of bumping a thread too much is to wait for 24 hours before you try to bump it again or if you have not received a single response in the last 24 hours. One bump only per day. That's all it is permitted as constant bumping is very annoying.

Close and delete functions are left to moderators so you have to PM the moderator assigned to a particular forum where you posted your thread to have your thread moderated as you requested however not all requests will be honored depending on the reasons given.

+1

Hmmm, I could see this annoying a mod and forcing them to close, so I will apologize in advance so I don't have to later.

Sorry :(

Let' ssee, bump means to make a post that shoots a thraed to the top. To close/delete threads, kiss a lot of...err...butt.

Advance to the next.......thread level?
