Who thinks it would be a good idea to have a thumbs up and down button on posts.

It would show which posts are more credible to help a new guy out, and the unnecessary or rule breaking posts could get thumbs downed and then deleted as a result!

Answer in the poll and then post any further comments below

it's an ok idea i guess

but i chose the last option because this is the only time it will be legal to insult someone, lol

Damn you. :irked:

Don't blame you though :D

This idea was presented a while back and given the 'thumb's down' due to the fact of having a membership with widely different/dissimilar backgrounds/upbringing/ethics. And because of the existence of too many 'cliques' that would cause skewed bias' to influence the voting either way. Especially when it comes to voting on a 'buddy's' post.

I guess.
Ah well...Seemed like a good idea.

Reminds me of the movie "Meangirls" when you talk about the cliques like that. :headbang2

A thumbs up, or thumbs down is just a disagreement and/or and agreement without validation. I think it is better to have someone state why they agree or disagree.

Excellent. Wish I'd said it that plainly.

I agree, 100%. It discourages discourse.
