MFK SAVES THE DAY!

I have some leave to blow at work so I have been home for a cpl of days. Today a cpl of buddies came over as I was doing some general tank maintenance checking filters powerheads changing water etc. Anyway 1 of my friends asked me how much time I spend on my tanks a week. He has a 240 with some piranah and he said he spends about an hr each week working on it. When I told him 12-18 hrs per week, for all 8, he thought I was crazy.

After a 45 min argument (longer than he spends on his tank per week), and explaining why his fish keep dying. I brought him to MFK. Afterwards he has decided to dedicate more resources, time, and effort into his tank. Hopefully he will join this site as well.

While I might be a bit anal about my tanks all of my fish are healthy, growing, and in great water. Hopefully his will soon be also.

Thanks to all the knowledgeable fishkeepers here who add quality responses to threads. You have unknowingly helped some fish live a better life.

I enjoy working on my tanks the way I do it. I have a very stressful job and it is my me time away from everything.

what ever makes ya happy! If I had the time Id spend massive amounts of time doing tank stuff too. Thankfully for me, my boss gave me a budget and told me to buy a tank for the office! I got a 90g at my work plus my tanks so im around it alll day everyday! thank you for sharing your story
