Im looking for a bottom dweller to help keep my aro tank clean but my gf hates plecos and i dont like them much either. the tanks 6x2x2 and has a sand bottom. it would be nice to have an attractive and active fish but more i just want something to help with my cleaning efforts of the sand

do you have a large tank after...if so get a ray they are sand sifter lo ok a the stingrray profile sticky...then get one og the smallest 3....

ya i was thinking about rays, but the cheapest ones in my area are $600-$800

I say Loaches as well, I have seen large Aro's with schools of Loaches before and the owner claimed the Aro didn't mind them at all.

However, your results may vary.

I'd say pim cats or loaches but some loaches grow really big.
