IM so mad boston lost!! And suns beat blazers... Our friend is the head coach for the suns, terry porter.

You might want to get use to it, because even in their best season in years (last year), they still had 15 more. ;)

Ouch, I would be so pissed...

Here come the porcelains......or better yet, he could have a legitimate excuse to have the first GREEEEE-OH! in the NBA (on court anyway).

**BREAKING NEWS**

The Detroit Pistons are trading Chauncey Billups and Antonio Mcdyess for Allen Iverson (Denver).:eek::eek:

I'm a little torn on this trade because I don't know where they're going to play him, because he doesn't play the 1, neither does Rip, and if they start Stuckey there, they'll have to either bench Rip or Iverson, or move Rip to the 3, and bench Prince. But really for me, this trade is a absolute winner because Iverson's contact is up after this year (22 mil) and so is Rasheed's (13 mil) so at the end of this year, the Pistons have moved themselves into a spot of being one of the biggest destinations for the big name players who will be available, with roughly 35 mil to spend. That alone makes this deal worth while, and another move that shows how good of a GM Dumars is. All in all, a good day for the Pistons, because at the very least, it shakes up a lineup, that desperatly needed shaking up.

Oh and not to toot my own horn or anything but, I posted a few days ago my predictions for this year, and put the Pistons as one of two teams most likely to make a midseason trade, now it's not midseason but this should still count. :)

i am shocked they made that trade!!! I think it will be bad for both teams. Chauncy doesn't put up the numbers that AI did, and AI will throw off the piston's balance

Their "balance" is to lose in the conference finals every year to teams they could probably beat. At least AI will make them hungrier, and maybe make them a little better. If this trade only makes them as good as before, it's worth it because of the money implications.

I was just telling my dad last night that they don't need Mcdyess anymore....

I think that pans out well for Denver, too, because Melo and AI just wasn't a fit. They both want the numbers. Now, Billups with Melo, that might work. But I'm not sure why they traded for a guy they let go years back (McDyess). The whole trade just has a strange feel to it though.

Mcdyess will not play for them, and will probably end up back in Detroit, although, I would rather not have him back. There has been tons of talk around here of trades ever since the Piston got beat last year, but for me, as I already stated, this move is about the future. We have our point in Stuckey, Rip is signed for another couple years, and we have lots of money to get a big man. If you add Amare or Bosh to that back-court, it's a young, and very good lineup.
