Small lake and saw a large mouth probably bigger then most my arm you cant beat this fishing down here! This is a pretty nice festae crazy the amount there are in these small lakes next week I'll up load some canal fishing and maybe get a video for you guys! Looking for some jags if you know any spots down here lmk!

Those are not festae, but Mayan Cichlids.

Agree about the uropthalmus (Mayans), they can be found all over south Florida.
The pic below was taken in a small roadside canal/ditch just south of Naples.

I'm so jelly, I live in Canada and even though the native fishing is great I'd still LOVE to look in the water and just SEE ornimental fish in the water just right there! I've always wanted to catch oscars and peacock bass, sadly I didn't try freshwater fishing last visit to the keys
