Miami
I was at one local fish store and saw a Juruense for 49.99 been waiting to get one so I did. Great size cat for the pond at a max of two feet. Then was at another store and they had Redtails and RTC X TSN crosses for like 29.99. I almost got one of the hybrids but they were small and I dont want something thats going to outgrow the pond. Already got a TSN thats growing way too fast. I really like the Juruense. Can somebody tell me about the behavior. The l. Pictus I have is hand trained and super friendly like the RTC Ive had in the past. the TSN is really skiddish like all the others Ive owned, Juruense seem more active, has been free swimming all day.

Nice pickup. Just got one myself. never realized how evil they look in a tank til now. They have some of the smallest eyes for their body size. Mine just kinda sits there raised up on his pelvic fins waiting for something to pass in front of him.

how come no one tells me when they are in miami?

very nice. i would love to find one of those here.

Yeah Necro, they do that wierd sitting with tail and nose in the air. Mine really likes the current by the waterfall. So far so good, he attacked some pieces of shrimp last night, cant wait till he is a little bigger. you know the pond is so funny, I have feeder goldfish that i put in to cycle with 8-10 inch oscars, 5-6 inch tinfoil barbs, a 18-20 inch l. pictus, a ten inch TSN and 10 inch common pleco. No body has eaten anybody in the 8 months the pond has been going, cant believe it. It's great because it allows me to put little fish i would have to put in a grow out tank in with all the others. I think they are all just addicted to Massivore Delight, and Hikari cichlid. But some how everybody gets along, cant believe it.
