If you are going to be feeding your arowana only one thing i would make it pellets. I think mice are too fatty and should only be fed as a treat. arowanas in the wild probably dont get to eat mice everyday so i wouldn't do it in the home aquarium. from the all the reading i have done on this forum i think arowanas would do best with a variety of food like pellets, shrimp, insects, bloodworms, etc.

i dont know on making it staple. they are great food and i do fed my green pinkies, but i guess feeding with no variety would just lead to future problems. hi-protein variety is the key
