Exactly what my point is sir, you've only addressed my language, which, were I bigoted towards him, would still not be a complete argument to my point, which was that an MVP should show the people watching what the sport is about, and Vick does a terrible job of this because he's an "example" of how little your justice system works when the party responsible is a celebrity and has money. Were it OJ Simpson that came back gloriously, allowed back, I don't know what his position is, but if he got MVP, a lot of people would feel badly about it. THAT is my point. Page 14 is officially pointless.

I meant as a gorilla or ape, but NOT IN A RACIST WAY. I also could have called him a bovine, walrus, swine or any other insulting term, I just used Silverback because it was the first word that came to mind and I was ranting. As Bottomfeeder said, I wasn't trying to be racist and you're missing my point, not to mention using a personal attack because you can't refute the point that he fought dogs, is a terrible role model, got away with crime and millions of dollars, and saying "well it's his culture" changes jack about that. If it was in someones culture to fight to the death when there was an issue of law, they'd end up in federal court if they carried it out, and it's no different for Vick. Giving him MVP just piles up on showing our children, and MY generation (I've seen this at school and it breaks my heart) that animals are so much less than humans that they can be tortured without consequence. Not even a death penalty, but letting Vick get away with that goes against everything I believe in.

You may not have been trying to be racist, but your slur was racist. There are more then a few public type speakers who have lost their jobs for such the same.

You know what comes to my mind when I read this? This Forum. Look at how many Cichlid and aros owners feed Goldfish or other "feeders". Why are you still here...there are animals.

What about all those animal shelters killing more dogs in one day then Vick ever killed. Animal shelters kill billions of cats, dogs and other animals yearly.

I agree 100%. Just because they "weren't human" doesn't make it LESS wrong. Killing humans would be MORE wrong, but torturing dogs to death isn't LESS wrong. He's a sorry human being and an all-around dirtbag. I don't remember him raping any dogs though

Didn't know that shelters were torturing animals thanks for the comparison. Shelters kill because macho idiots don't fix there pits. They kill because of over population and morons don't save them instead they buy from akc puppy mills. Killing can be humane. Vick wasn't feeding his family / he got aroused from torture. He wasn't killing for food. Now who should grow up. Vick should be sterilized along with most intelligent lacking thugs. Idiocracy really makes this thread fun.
