Glad to see all the clubs finally put their heads together and gave us something in the spring. Are there any specifics on what you can sell at the auction? I only ask because I was thinking of bringing some flowerhorns.

is this gonna be a big event? i drove to michigan and bought some fish from nuggets.very very nice fish top notch and i would drive there for this meet.that area of michigan sure does have alot of pet and fish stores around!i couldnt beleave how many stores there were in a 20 mile radius of anywere you picked i was amazed.

We're hoping so, we've been advertising heavily through the local clubs, and now the internet. I wouldn't compare it to say the OCA Extravaganza by any means, but the flea market has room for about 40+ tables.

The shop hop is going to be at least five locations and the guy that's coordinating it will also give you directions to a couple of other stores if you desire to hit a couple more spots. I know that Fantastic Fins in Livonia is the start point and Wet Thumb Aquatics is one of the other stops. Also there is a local wholesaler that's opening his facility and he's running right around 750 tanks! As you had mentioned, there are a lot of quality pet stores in the metro Detroit area, and you could spend an entire day checking them out.

Our aim is to build on this and hopefully add speakers, and an auction at future events and make it a big draw like the OCA and Greater Chicago events.
