are there any michigan member that have been out fishing since the salmon started coming in, went last week caught 2 kings. any one else?

Where in Michigan? I'm down in South Bend, but my roommate and I were thinking about buying week long permits and trying on the St Joseph River.
I went and some freinds I new went I was fishing for about 4 hrs noonecought nothin my freind went all day for 2 days strait and cought nothing while he was there a person cought 1 small salmon out of over 10 people
