Hey Michigan reefers im in the process of opening a tropical fish store in south eastern MI and need your help. I am trying to find several salt water hobbyist to buy frags off to stock our store. I am looking for high quality frags at a wholesale price, which means cheap, but i would be buying throughout the year not a one time deal. Idealy i would like to have a co-op of local hobbyist to buy from. Not sure if something like this has ever been done but i am always trying to keep my money local to help out my communities. I wouldnt be buying anything for about 6 months but want to spread the word early to see if this is a possibility. That being said, what a great way to start off. Kudos to you for the initiative.
Just make sure that you supplement with some rarer stuff because if you sell frags from other hobbyists in the area, it sort of limits who you can sell to.

Too bad its not south west MI we need a good SW LFS in a bad way. I wouldnt mention your starting an LFS on michiganreefers.com. They are pretty tough on non sponsor businesses. You would be better off on captivesreefs.com. Membership on there is not as large but 95% michigan and the site owner is a real easy guy to work with.
