I finally found some normal length albino senegalus! You can ask fishgonewild, I've been looking for these for a long time now!

They are microscopic though, but luckily I'm growing out some baby bichirs anyways :D

Here is a pic of the two (I want more now :D ):

Wow, those things are tiny! I have 3 small bichirs, one of which is an albino Sen. If your new ones are like mine, they will have major appetites. I got mine at 2 or less inches, and he ate everything, including pellets, off the get go.

You're right, they were super hungry, but didn't have sunken bellies. They were eating floating pellets right out of the bag :D

Thanks bro, they were $13 each. Not bad I guess. :)

Wow. Never seen them that small. Only 2 inches and up. Nice!!

Well, the pic is a bit deceptive, they are appx. 2" or slightly smaller. They make my baby SB sens look huuuge

WHOA where is it?! Good luck with the new babies!

Thanks darth! I am worried because I had to add them with the aggro buettikoferi bichir, but for some reason it leaves the albinos alone, and still picks on the delhezi's, so I'm relieved and irked at the same time.

Notice the dwarf puffer in the upper right of the pic, next to the bag. That should give you another idea of size.

I will give you another extra $5 on top of what you paid for them in 3 months. Growing them at that size will take you at least a year to get them to 8". That is if they do not become albino bichir sushi to your bigger bichirs. Have fun!:D

They will also eat blood worms at that current size. Get your smelly toe out off your aquarium.

 I trimmed my toenail just for the pic too! :grinno:

Tell you what, you buy some from sunset at the current price, and I will grow them out for you for free. I can keep them in my aunts platy tank to keep the fry population in check  I will be giving bloodworms as treats, you'll be surprised how fast they will grow though :D :D

I'm ready to take care of these for the long haul before they're able to go with the big boys, especially since the big guys are going through a growth spurt right now.

Nice pick up... I miss my Albino sen's...
Let's just say they don't like lightning...

Cool forum handle man! :)

What's the story behind your sens shocking death? (pun intended :D sorry )

Ha.. they weren't electrocuted or anything.... But I've had it happen so many times, with pantadon butterflies and bichirs(2 bichirs and about a half a dozen butterflies).... lightning strikes and they freak from the bright light, and go bazerk until they find a way out of the tank, and I find them on the floor... No matter how hard you try to cover those tanks... they always find a way out... I started using duct tape across the back now... that should hold em!
