Hi everyone, im planning to upgrade my air bubbles in my tank, right now im running two air stone and one air motor. Im doing some research and saw this thing called micro bubbles.
Im thinking if it will be good for polys or not. I have some fish too that needs oxygen like my SD's and pinktail chalceus. I know that polys can have low oxygen cause they go up to the suface for air but im trying to make it easier for them to get sdsome oxygen. Any advice on the micro bubbles or any advice on adding another air pump. I loke the idea on powerhead but i dont want to mich current in the tank.

Here is an example of the micro bubbles.

Look at pond air stones. They have a few that act as close to a oxygen diffuser. Pentair has a diffuser product. I've seen it in action and does give micro bubbles. Not sure about longevity. It's at least affordable compared to the ones used true aquaponics.

Do this stuff still use regular air pump?

It's meant for large pond use. Large pumps. Not sure if the entire thing will bubble up or not.

There's a cheaper 12inch bubble diffuser on amazon. It's like $20 if I remember right. Has the same claim for micro bubbles. That can be used with regular aquarium air pumps.
