This started yesterday. I did my water change on Friday night and no problems. I added some plants to my sump Saturday afternoon then I notice this last night. My guess is part of a plant is stuck somewhere in the system. Any other ideas? I am going to give it until after work and then I guess I may have to drain the sump.

It happens. Unless it's a saltwater tank, I wouldn't worry about it.

Give it some time then. I get micro bubbles every time I turn my pump off & restart.

So going on 48 hours and still blowing micro bubbles. Any ideas what is causing this?

If your pump has a sponge pre-filter as mine does, then air bubbles could be trapped inside of it. As they free themselves, the prop breaks them up. Time will heal it....It may be weeks before it completely stops.

Figured it out. A piece of a plant was stuck in the intake. Cleared it out and put a piece of the pond filter pad under the suction tube.
