Micro Bubbles

And the right answer is...................................... Yes, in quantity.

Your read it right, we even had a thread on it a year or so ago.

An intermittent small amount of micro bubble won't hurt the fish, BUT an over abundance of them can stick to the gills and the fish can suffocate. (ie http://keepalive.net/portable.htm )

For a while I had connected my Venturi air blower to the output of the pump on my 140gal tank and it would toss zillions and zillions of micro bubbles into the water....
The bubbles coated everything...the fish were coated from tip to tail....

I turned it off....
