I have a 125 gallon tank and mirco bubbles are comming out of the return pipe from the sump. Is it my skimmer that is doing this? The skimmer is a seaclone 100and it sits in the sump. There are 3 baffles after the skimmer before the return pump, 2 lower and 1 higher. I hope you can help.
Thanks
Chris

Do you have any small leaks or salt creep on the outlet pipe of the pump?? Is the water level in sump over the pump enough?? It might be sucking air in somewhere.

try putting a sponge where the skimmer outlet is. might help
I'm just curious - why would we avoid bubbles in a tank? What harm will they cause? I'm a newb in SW.

mirco bubbles can build up in live rock and pass through it. The mircoorganisms on the inside of the rick dont like the bubbles and die off pretty quickly
