Micro bubbles

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
The powerheads that are spraying the bubbles are causing it. Turn the air supply to those off and the bubbles will go away.

I prefer them and i intentionally run mine this way. The above will change it though. If you have no other air supply in your tank make sure you have maximum surface agitation. You don't want to starve out your stock and filters from O2 or will risk losses and a system crash rather quickly.

So if I kept it like this it won't harm my fish in the long run?of course they be predator type fish =)

Far from it. The more dissolved oxygen in the system the better for most keepers. The additional benifit of a high dissolved oxygen level is a very efficient bacterial colony. In short it boosts up how well your filter will consume ammonia and nitrite.

Well sounds good to me I'll probably just keep it like that the one that actually didn't like it was my wife she said you cant see inside the tank compared to how it was before haha thankyou!

Looks normal for new wood. It will go away eventually. If you want, you can add some oto's and they'll eat it.
