Micro bubbles

Hey guys bf gals, I installed a internal uv filter on my 50 gallon tank and am getting a ton of micro bubbles now. Any idea why and how I can stop it?

Maybe just point the spout angled up a bit to point the air more tward the surface

I can't point the spout up or down. Only left or right.

Disconnect the air line to the UV.

Either disconnect the airline on the top and have no bubbles or put a small plastic valve on it and turn the amount of air being drawn through it. Alot of these come with adjustable valve on the top of the airlines.

Yes there is a valve thing on the end of the tube but I have it closed off. The hole to allow air in isn't open. I won't damage the unit if I take off the airline tube right? It will still do what it needs to?

the airline is a optional thing it will be fine without it
