So, after realizing that i was going to need a bigger tank for my fish i decided it was time to learn to build them. First of all i needed a cabinet that would fit in an alcove (the only one i am allowed to build in as the OH wanted room for furniture :/ lol) then after realizing there would no longer be room for the bookcase holding our DVDs i had to incorporate this storage problem into the cabinet. having 2 days off in a row (a serious rarity) i got this far...
Im working half days so will be working on the cladding between now and Thursday. Its going to be boxed in pine and the central storage is for the fish stuff which will be hidden behind more paneling probably with some carving detail. The side alcoves will have the DVDs in tidy little boxes ensuring family happiness.
any comments tips suggestions gladly recieved!
