Micropeltes breeding project.

hi guys , it’s me again!
I ve got an idea of breeding monsters but i was not sure which ones. So i decided to try with micropeltes. I ll take them juvs 5-6 micropeltes and raise them till they can form a pair. When do you think they can breed? I mean in which age they can spawn? My project is to build a huge tank ( 2.70 x 0.70 x 1.0 m ) or i need bigger to house them?

I am not 100%, but i have not heard of any reported breeding in a tank, usually in large ponds or in nets in rivers/resevoirs. I think they wouldn't breed until over 14 inches long. Of the 2 groups i tried to keep, neither survived past 16 inches, with no signs of pairing.
Reading up in the past, they are nest builders, a rise in temperature triggers spawning, which occurs in the morning. You will have done very well if you breed them in a tank.

Well i ll try to make caves etc in the tank. I ll see how much room i ll have and if it is bigger than 2.70 i ll make it bigger. I hope something like 4.20 but i dont know if i can affort anything like that.. we ll see. But i would love to try
