Marulia hands down , Micropeltes is a very aggresive feeder but rarley attacks things it doesnt see as food (unless breeding) , Marulia will attack anything even a lot bigger than its self , there are many people that have kept Micropeltes with other fish with no problems ,you can not do that with Marulia they are to be kept on there own

why is it tho, that you always hear of micropleltes being the most ferocious of snakeheads? you never really hear much about bulls-eyes, even tho they are the largest of the snakeheads

i think its just that reds probably look a bit meaner and get more girth, also not many people have kept the Marulia due to it being not so common and more expensive , by comparison reds are easy to come by and you can get them for as little as £5 . iam shure if more people had kept Marulia the stories would be differant

reds get big and mean,but theyre not much compared to marulia.
