Monsters in the making :D just keep an eye out for aggression amongst each other;) .

Already have my reservations Stotty, there is one big one already stripping the other two for growth, the first three feeds were feeder goldfish to "kick-start" them, and they were fighting each other for them. One would eat two within seconds. Then a tail would be hanging out a mouth and another would grab and shake and twist then it was ripped clean in half. Crazy. Now they are on large chopped earthworms and large prawns they regularly tear bits off if the other fish has not quickly eaten the entire thing! My original plan was to have only one in a species tank, but it's interesting to note that quite a few people have three sub-adults / adults in tanks; not just that a few of them are in tanks I would consider too small and they are getting away with it. I guess it just comes down to the individual fish, being highly intelligent like cichlids etc, there is a wider range of individual behaviours across the entire gamut.
For the last 15 years that I have been interested and kept snakeheads before micropeltes everything I have read and also the two people I know that have had them suggested the idea of two or more together was a no-no as soon as "the change" from juvenile colour pattern started. (Makes it sound like a werewolf film "the change") I shall keep a very close eye on things but I think it's still likely I shall pick the best of the three come May/June time with that one going into the new tank alone.

This is a cool project and one that I'd like to do sometime in the (hopefully near) future. What size tank do you have them in?
