Microscopic aquatic pictures

I have a light microscope that goes up to 1000x and wondering what some cool picture ideas could be, I took this of a plantlet growing on a leaf but also thinking I’d trying to get some detritus worms or microscopic creatures that are in the common freshwater aquarium and getting a closer look at them. Also the microscope can be used to see skin cells and micro organisms but since it’s only a light microscope that I bight a while ago from Amazon for like 35$ so the quality isn’t as good and you can’t see as much as you could with a higher end compound microscope like you use at school but I definitely look forward to buying one sometime soon

Yeah, pretty common, especially in heavily planted tanks.

I’ll do some research and see if I can find some in my nano shrimp tank.

What are some other ideas, fish food, fish poop, algae, water, I’ll try anything you guys suggest.

Would be cool to see a scale, but I can’t imagine that coming off commonly except for silver dollars (practically shed them whenever they get scared).

Just cause I can’t get a fish scale from my tank don’t mean I can’t get one at all… I’ll go fishing tomorrow and get a microscopic picture of scales of rock bass, could also try to look at the eyes, blood and organs.
