Hello,

I have a tank with 3 fish in it, all fairly young and get fed 1 medium sized red worm a day and occasionally dried krill or other things to keep their diet varied. I always watch for a few minutes to make sure food is eaten completely and if not it is removed.

They are south american cichlids. Blood parrot, jd and geophagus brasilianis. I have all fake plants and ornaments in the tank. Water changes are done by weekly 33%. Water levels are normal.

I was looking at the tank before heading to class to see a very very tiny slug making its way up the glass. After further investigation I noticed two clusters of these very tiny things on two parts of the glass. I added the geophagus to the tank on Saturday and now these are here. I hardly feel it's coincidence but rather possibly carried in by this fish?

What do I do? Whatare the risks? And with all fake ornamentation, will these die off on there own?

Thank you

Google 'planaria' see if it looks similar to what you have.

sounds like planaria, flatworms. I had a massive outbreak in a planted tank a while back. Small fish, such as guppies, are great at trackign down and destroying them.
