I have tiny little white worms on the glass of my tank. I do not see them on any of the fish and they seem to be eating the algae on my glass buut i am not sure. has any one encountered this? the parameters are great. please help!

Planaria..
Usually show up when theres excess waste in the tank..
Do some good gravel vac's and cut down on the feeding for a week or so..

They eat excess food, not waste. Try to cut back on the feedings to starve them out. But they aren't harmfull to fish..........

You need to got out and get a shot before you do any work in the tank though.

Any opening in your skin will allow them to enter your tissue.

they might be planaria but these are only 1mm if that. and now i have these things at the top of the waterline wiggling violently at times. they are no more than 2mm in size. Is there a list on the internet that shows and tells about all parasirte, bugs, worms that can enter the tank?

they are planaria. when they colonize that means that they are breeding and have plenty of food so cutting down on your feeding is a good idea. idk why they go to the top of the glass, ive had the same problem but they are nothing to worry bout:headbang2
