I was going to do Crenicichla compressiceps, but have checked everywhere and no one has them or any idea if they wil get them again. I have decided to turn my attention to a mid-sized pike somewhere between 6-12in and has alot of character (active). Could you guys list out some good mid size pikes so I get get to researching them. There is a ton of the and some have little info about them thanks.

I have a full grown male Lenticulata, hes about 13" or so. Maybe a little bigger than youre looking for but is VERY vigorous. Ive been trying to sell him for awhile to make room in my big tank for more cichla. Fairly rare pike and ide let him go pretty cheap. PM me if youre interested, im in North Dallas.
any saxatilis group pike would work. svenis, frenatas, lepidota, lucius to name a few. will likely be in the 8-10 inch range.
most of the lugubris pikes will be in the 12-14 inch range so i dont know if ur interested in that. i like the lugubris more than the saxatilis pikes but thats my opinion.

thanks I found some two spot pikes and also some johanna's. I hear the johanna's are a real trip.
